URL Shortener
Make a short kilotoolbox.com/s/ link that redirects and counts clicks.
About URL Shortener
URL Shortener makes a short kilotoolbox.com/s/ address that redirects to any public http(s) page and counts each visit. Leave the alias blank for a random code, or pick your own. There is no account: the page gives you a Secret Edit Link, and that link is the only way to change the destination or delete the short URL later.
How to Use URL Shortener
Paste the long link
Use a full http or https address. A bare domain is accepted and treated as https.
Pick an alias or skip it
Type 3–32 letters, numbers, or hyphens (for example promo), or leave the field empty for a random code.
Copy both links
Share the short link. Save the Secret Edit Link — it is not shown again, and nobody else can change the destination without it.
Common Use Cases
Captions and chat
Replace a long product or form URL with one line that still lands on the same page.
Printed material
Download the QR of the short address for a flyer. Change where it points later without reprinting, using the Secret Edit Link.

Tips for Best Results
Save the Secret Edit Link before you close the tab. The short URL works without it; editing does not.
Need a page of several links instead of one redirect? Use Link in Bio Builder.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the short link expire?
No. It keeps redirecting until you delete it with the Secret Edit Link.
Can someone else overwrite my alias?
No. The server stores only a hash of your secret key. Updating or deleting requires that key.
Which links are rejected?
Only http and https addresses are accepted. javascript:, data:, and links with an embedded username or password are refused.
