About CV Builder
CV Builder turns a simple form into a finished resume or cover letter and hands you the PDF for free. Most resume sites let you design everything, then lock the download button behind a weekly subscription that quietly renews at a much higher monthly rate. This tool has no trial, no watermark, and no account: you fill in your details, watch the A4 page update live, and download when it looks right. The PDF it produces contains real selectable text, not a screenshot, so applicant tracking systems (ATS) that scan and index resumes can read every word. Indonesian job seekers can switch every section heading to Bahasa Indonesia with one click, which produces a familiar CV ATS layout: Ringkasan, Pengalaman Kerja, Pendidikan, Keahlian. The same screen also writes a formal cover letter, including the Kepada Yth. recipient block and a Hal: subject line that Indonesian HR departments expect. Your draft saves itself in the browser as you type, so an accidental refresh or a lost connection will not eat an hour of work.
How to Use CV Builder
Fill in your personal details
Enter your name, job title, email, phone, city, and LinkedIn URL. These build the header of the document. Nothing is sent anywhere: the form lives in the page and the draft is stored only in your own browser.
Add experience, education, and skills
Use the Add buttons to create one block per job or degree. Put each achievement on its own line; the builder turns them into bullet points. Skills and languages are plain comma separated lists.
Write a cover letter in the same place
Open the Cover letter tab for a formal block format letter: date, recipient, subject, body paragraphs, and a closing. Switch the language to Bahasa Indonesia and the closing becomes Hormat saya with a Hal: subject line.
Download the PDF, free
Press Download PDF to get a clean file with selectable text and no watermark. The accent color picker restyles headings before export, and extra pages are added automatically when content grows past one page.
Why Use CV Builder: Common Use Cases
Fresh graduates applying via ATS portals
Large employers and government recruitment systems parse resumes with software before a human reads them. A single column layout with standard headings and selectable text survives that parsing far better than a heavily designed template.
Indonesian job and CPNS applications
Switch the document labels to Bahasa Indonesia for a CV that matches what Indonesian HR staff expect, then attach a matching surat lamaran built in the same tool with a Kepada Yth. block and Hormat saya closing.
Quick tailoring per vacancy
Because the draft autosaves and exports instantly, you can keep one master resume and produce a tailored copy for each vacancy in minutes: reorder bullets, swap the summary, and download again at no cost.
Refugees from subscription builders
If a previous resume site held your finished CV hostage behind a paywall, rebuild it here from scratch or by pasting your old content into the form, then download the PDF without paying anything.

Tips for CV Builder
Keep the summary to three sentences naming your role, years of experience, and one concrete strength; recruiters read it first and often only.
Start every achievement bullet with a verb and add a number where honest, for example rebuilt the checkout page and cut load time from 4 seconds to 1.6.
Many portals also ask for your photo. Make a properly sized one with Pas Photo Maker instead of cropping a group photo by hand.
Before sending, export your draft, tweak one line, and use Compare PDF to confirm exactly what changed between versions.
If a portal only accepts images, convert pages with PDF to JPG after downloading the PDF.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the PDF download really free?
Yes. There is no trial, no subscription, no watermark, and no account. The download button produces the same full quality PDF for every visitor, because the whole builder runs inside your browser.
Is the resume ATS friendly?
Yes. The layout is a single column with standard section headings, and the exported PDF contains real selectable text rather than an image, so parsing software can extract every word.
Can I write the CV in Bahasa Indonesia?
Yes. The English / Bahasa Indonesia toggle switches every section heading and the cover letter conventions: Ringkasan, Pengalaman Kerja, Pendidikan, Keahlian, plus a Hal: subject and Hormat saya closing for the letter.
Where is my draft stored?
In your browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded to any server. Clearing site data or using a private window removes the draft, and the Clear all button empties the form on demand.
Can I write a cover letter too?
Yes, the Cover letter tab builds a formal block letter with date, recipient, subject, and paragraphs. Your name and contact details from the resume header are reused automatically.
What happens when my CV is longer than one page?
The builder simply continues onto a second page, and the preview shows a marker where each A4 page ends so nothing important gets cut at an awkward spot.
